The Fatwa quoted below was deliberated amongst the Scholars at Department of Darul-Iftaa (Wifaqul Ulama) and the conclusion reached after discussion was as follows:

حامدا ومصليا ومسلما
الجواب ومنه الصواب

Administrative Research

Supermarket Milk supply in Britain is dominated by three companies and they Arla Foods UK, Robert Wiseman Dairies, and Dairy Crest.

ASDA Whole Milk and ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk are both sourced from Arla Foods UK. They are a subsidiary of Arla Foods (Denmark) which is one of the largest dairy companies in the world.

The Milk is all obtained from British Farms. The Arla dairy at Aylesbury was officially opened by Agriculture Secretary Owen Paterson in 2014 and it is one of the largest in the country and possibly supplies a large number of ASDA stores.

There are no animal additives or preservatives added to the Milk by Arla Foods UK which is supplied to ASDA and sold as ASDA Whole Milk and ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk.
