There was no reliable sighting news (Muhaqaq Ru’ayat e Basri) of the Hilal HiHin the Country or anywhere else to the east of UK on Monday evening. We have received written confirmation of negative sighting from the Ministry of Awqaf in Morocco. We therefore completed 30 days of Safar and the first day of Rabi ul Awwal in the United Kingdom will be on Wednesday 25th January 2012 Insha Allah.

Saudi Arabia had 29 days of Safar and will commence the Month from Tuesday 24th January based on the pre calculated Umm ul Qura Calendar.
