Despite efforts locally, we have recieved no positive news of sighting from throughout the UK. However, positive sighting news has been recieved from the Hilal Committee of South Africa and the Ministry of Waqf and Islamic Affairs of Morocco. Hence, the Wifaq Ul Ulama hereby declares that the 1st of Dhul Qa'dah 1432 will be on Thursday the 29th of September 2011. The month of Shawwal had 29 days.
