السّلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

بدءا، يسعدنا أن ننقل إليكم عبارات الشكر والامتنان من البريطانيين المسلمين، لخادم الحرمين الشريفين صاحب السمو سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود وإلى جميع المعنيين في المملكة العربية السعودية باستضافة واستقبال الحجاج البريطانيين الذين يزورون المملكة خلال فترة العمرة والحج

فقد كان من دواعي سرورنا، أن نستفيد من حسن ضيافتكم خلال زيارتنا إلى الأراضي المقدسة. يشهد تنظيم وإدارة الحج تحسّنا مطردا عاما بعد عام، ونحن ندعو الله أن يجازيكم خير الجزاء

نكتب إليكم للتعبير عن مشاعر المسلمين البريطانيين فيما يتعلق بمهرجان جدة العالمي المقرر عقده في استاد الملك عبد الله الرياضي في 18 يوليو الجاري لعام 2019

فإننا نود أن بلغكم بأننا نشعر بالانزعاج الشديد إزاء الأخبار التي وصلت إلينا حول هذا الحدث الذي يعارض بشكل كامل تعاليم العقيدة الإسلامية ويتجاهل بشدة قدسية الحرم وموسم الحج الذي نحن مقبلون عليه بإذن الله

 فإننا نشعر بقلق عميق إزاء انتشار مثل هذه الفعاليات التي تدعو إلى الانحطاط الأخلاقي في المملكة العربية السعودية. وإنه لمن المؤلم لنا حقًا رؤية مثل هذه الأحداث تنتشر في جميع أنحاء المملكة في الوقت الذي يستعد فيه المسلمون في جميع أنحاء العالم – وبالطبع منهم مسلمو بريطانيا — للسفر إلى الأراضي المقدسة للحج.
وبما أن النبي صلى الله عيله وسلم قال ( الدين النصيحة ، قلنا : لمن يا رسول الله ؟ قال : لله ولرسوله وللأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم ) رواه البخاري و مسلم

وذلك لما للمملكة من مكانة مقدسة ، حيث إن المملكة العربية السعودية تحتل موقعًا فريدًا في قلوب وعقول المسلمين في كل أنحاء العالم كوجهة لدين الإسلام ولما بها من مقدسات كالحرمين الشريفين اللذيَّنِ يجب احترامهما واحترام قدسيتهما

كنت مقيما في بريطانيا وعلى بيّنة بظروف المسلمين البريطانيين بشكل كبير، ونحن ندعوكم للتعبير عن قلقنا ونحن على يقين أنكم ستولون موضوعنا جل اهتمامكم وأن صوتنا مسموع في المملكة العربية السعودية

نسأل الله تعالى أن يهدينا وإياكم إلى دينه الحق وإلى صراطه المستقيم

وتفضلوا بقبول فائق الاحترام والتقدير

We begin by con­vey­ing the grat­i­tude of British Mus­lims to you, to the Cus­to­di­an of the Two Holy Mosques HH Salman bin Abdu­laz­iz Al Saud and to all those involved in the King­dom of Sau­di Ara­bia in host­ing and accom­mo­dat­ing the British Pil­grims vis­it­ing the King­dom dur­ing Umrah and Hajj.

It has been a plea­sure ben­e­fit­ing from your hos­pi­tal­i­ty dur­ing our vis­its to the Holy Lands of Islam.

The organ­i­sa­tion and man­age­ment of Hajj has been steadi­ly improv­ing year after year, and we pray to Allah Azza Wa’Jal to give you the best of rewards for it.

We entrust you with this mes­sage on behalf of 3 mil­lion Mus­lims in this country.

We write to you to con­vey the sen­ti­ment of British Mus­lims regard­ing the Jed­dah world fest set to take place at the King Abdul­lah Sport Sta­di­um on the 18th of July 2019. We are deeply dis­turbed by the news reach­ing us about this event. It is dia­met­ri­cal­ly opposed to the tenets of Islam­ic faith, brazen­ly dis­re­gards the sanc­ti­ty of Al-Haram and the Hajj sea­son which is near­ly upon us. We are deeply con­cerned about the pro­lif­er­a­tion of deca­dence in Sau­di Ara­bia. It is painful to see sim­i­lar events metas­ta­size through­out the King­dom just when Mus­lims all over the world and in Britain are gear­ing up to trav­el to the Holy lands for pilgrimage.

We call upon you to per­suade the author­i­ties in Sau­di Ara­biA to put an END to such decA­dent events and respect the reli­gious and spir­i­tu­al her­itage, feel­ings and sen­ti­ments of over a bil­lion Mus­lims. Sau­di Ara­bia occu­pies a unique posi­tion in the hearts and minds of Mus­lims (glob­al­ly) and its posi­tion and stature (of the Holy lands) must be recog­nised and respected.

HH Prince Mohammed bin Nawwaf bin Abdu­laz­iz, you are a res­i­dent of Britain and are acute­ly aware of the cir­cum­stances of British Mus­lims. We urge you to con­vey our con­cerns to the best of your abil­i­ties and ensure that our voice is heard in the King­dom of Sau­di Arabia.
