Non-Muslims: Entering Mosques

We get requests for vis­its from local schools and com­mu­ni­ty organ­i­sa­tions to vis­it our Mosque? Is it per­mis­si­ble for Non-Mus­lims to enter the Mosques and what should be the rec­om­mend­ed guide­lines for such a visit?
